KPV LAB Edinburgh

Building next-generation platforms and experiences to explore and visualise information and knowledge

KPV LAB Edinburgh is a software studio undertaking research and development on areas related to the exploration and visualisation of information.

Our products have a particular focus on managing data in time and space and encompass the fields of history, literature, science, music and business intelligence.

Our drive is to create new ways to explore and interact with knowledge that reveal meaningful insights and experiences.

We are still in Stealth Mode, superquiet, but that will change soon…

Work With Us

KPV LAB is rapidly expanding with plans to double the size of the Edinburgh software engineering team over the next year.

Rather than restrict to specific roles, we are primarily looking for motivated developers who enjoy working with the latest technologies at all levels of the web stack.

The current team have a diverse mix of skills with backgrounds in literature, philosophy, animation, maths, physics and computer science. We are life-long learners with a broad range of interests beyond our own specialisms.

The job details page has more information about how we work, what we are looking for, and what we can offer.

If your interest is piqued then email us and we can start a conversation.

Whilst we aren't yet ready to publicly present our projects these pictures give an indication of our working environment in the city centre of Edinburgh.

This is a unique opportunity to work on some very novel and innovative projects within a non-typical company!
